News: February 15, 2012 Happy Belated New Year! We have new songs and a show booked to help shake off the cobwebs! See the shows listings on the right. August 25, 2011 to present Ellipsis March 21, 2011 With spring comes change. Once again the cast of Bellevue is going to be different as Rob will be leaving the band after this Friday's show at the Press Club in Toronto. No, he's not crazy, addicted to things that are harming his life or those around him, he's not threatening us with violence, nor is his significant other. He's just quitting a band. July 28, 2010 Wow! Two posts in one month! Well, here is the cover for the new album which (dare I say) will be out soon... July 20, 2010 We will be playing on Saturday August 7th at the Tranzac with a great Ottawa band called Brad Sucks. Come early. Doors open at 7pm and it's all over by 11pm.
May 12, 2010 Holy guacamole! The record is finally finished. Yeah. It will be released in August. Keep yer eyes peeled and pointed here for the cover art unveiling in the very near future. March 29, 2010 The new album "What You Want" is going to be mastered on April 25. As promised here is another unmastered song to check out. It's called "Captain". May 4, 2008 Well, it's been a while, and as you can see our site has been slightly modified, as have we. We are now back to being a four piece since losing one member and gaining a new one. Now, don't get confused... Our newest member is David Ritter. He plays keyboard and percussion. The new album is out and available from us directly, on iTunes, or you can also order through CD Baby. We will be having a release show on Saturday, June 7. Click here for more details. December 3, 2007 Our new album, with the working title "I've Been Meaning To Get Therapy" is recorded, and has been very well mixed by one Alphonse Lanza. We just have to get it mastered, and manufactured. We hope to have it ready for our show at the Horseshoe on January 22. October 10, 2007 Julie has left the band, but not the building. Our new album (no tiltle as of yet) is verging on completion. Maybe we will put some mp3's up for you to hear in the meantime. Everything else is the same. Oh, we're playing a benefit next Friday, October 19 for the African Medical & Research Foundation. More info here... May 9, 2007 Hey! We can finally start the bellevue hockey team that we've always dreamed about doing. We have an additional guitarist named David Cyr, who has kindly agreed to keep playing with us. He did agree to take a photo with us!! Wanna see? His name is Jordan, and he also plays in a band called Purple Hill. We have finally finished our debut album tentatively titled "Lost In Space". We will be have more details about a release party and our seemingly endless search for a drummer in the coming weeks. April 25, 2006 Phew! Sorry for the lengthy hiatus. Our news department had an anthrax attack and we had to shut down for a while. So... HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We have a new drummer(joel), and a new keyboardist(julie) who has actually played with us before, so she knows what she's getting herself into. She is very brave. We have a few shows coming up, and someday we will have an album to guilt you into buying. Otherwise the terrorist's win. September 11, 2005 Tell all of your friends! The Ass Machine CD release show for their new album We Are Changing Our Name, has been rescheduled for the end of November. more... August 23, 2005 Unfortunately the Ass Machine CD release on September 3 has been canceled. It will be rescheduled, and we will let you know when and where. August 9, 2005 The first of the Pitter Patter Nights at O'Grady' s was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who came, and who took pictures! LOOK There will be more, as soon as we get them. Also, thanks to Keith for having us. And thank you Julie! We won't be playing again for about a month. In the meantime we will be doing some recording, and hope to find a permanent drummer, so we will be able to see Matt's boots! July 29, 2005 Well, the show last Saturday at the Cameron House went very well. Thanks to Morgan Grady-Smith for filling in on the keyboard. If you come out to the show this Thursday August 4 at O'Grady's, you can see us with Julie Kendall playing the keyboard. Beach Boys trivia after party!!! July 12, 2005 As some of you may know, drummer, Jason Kift is no longer with the band. Matt Rubba (our keyboardist/guitarist) will be sitting in behind the drums until we find a permanent drummer.
